Thundery central Europe, mostly fair Mediterranean


Wednesday
Cloud and some showers in southern and eastern parts of Spain. Drier with more sunshine in other parts of Iberia. Corsica and Sardinia will be dry and sunny. Further showers in Italy, some thundery. Mostly fair for Greece with a few showers. Scattered showers in western areas of Turkey but fair and sunny in the east.
Heavy, thundery showers across much of central, eastern and southern France. Brighter and drier in the northwest. Some bright spells and breezy in the Low Countries. Fair across Germany, some cloud and showers pushing south through Poland. Hungary should be dry with sunny spells. Showers in Austria and torrential thunderstorms in Switzerland.
Denmark will be bright and dry with sunshine. Cloud and outbreaks of rain in Sweden and the Baltic States. Breezy for Finland with some sunny spells here. Fair for Norway with good spells of sunshine.


Thursday
Plenty of sunshine for Spain and Portugal on Thursday, remaining very warm and dry. Fine too in the central Mediterranean. Corsica and Sardinia should have decent days with plenty of sunshine. Greece and Turkey staying dry and sunny throughout.
Heavy, thundery rain developing across much of central and northern France. The Netherlands will be breezy and dry. Fair for Germany and Poland with lots of sunshine and staying warm here. Fair too in Hungary, although scattered showers for Austria and Switzerland.
Denmark should have a fair day with sunshine. Some showers and cloud feeding into the Baltic States making for cold conditions here. Further showers and a strong breeze for Finland. Feeling chilly in Sweden with some showers in the east but fair for most of the country. Fine for Norway, staying dry with sunny spells.
